Con la terza vittoria su cinque tappe, Franz Hofer e Paolo Alberati si sono laureati campioni assoluti della seconda edizione dell’Etna Marathon Tour. La coppia portacolori del team Simplon-A&G Sporting doveva soltanto controllare l’ampio margine in classifica generale di oltre un’ora ma è riuscita a precedere tutti anche nell’ultima frazione (tempo di 2h45’40”) che portava i 22 team da Randazzo a Milo dopo 51 km e 1660 metri di dislivello.
